It snowed again this week, but not for very long. It was long enough for Miky to freak out and shut down the Georgetown office. I can understand that she was worried about driving in the snow. Unfortunately if she had waited another half hour or so she wouldn't have had to drive through snow at all.
I really wish that I were in DC for the inauguration weekend. I'm sure I'd just be a face in the huge, cold crowd (maybe my "connections" from being an intern would finally have paid off...?), but it would be an incredible moment to be a part of. Instead of even watching it live on TV or online, I will be attending my last classes of the semester. I'd skip but I don't have any allies in my Analisis y Comportamiento Electoral class (which will be like the third Tuesday of the semester we actually have it...) and I have to take the final, so I feel like I need to be there. Unfortunately.
I'm very ready for this semester to be over. My exams stretch out from January 26-February 11. I was supposed to have one on my birthday, but the university has switched the fiesta of St. Thomas Aquinas from the 28th to the 30th or something. This will give me new appreciation for him next time I have to read him. Maybe.
I don't know how worried to be for finals. I honestly don't care about my grades, but passing would be good.
